Projapati 2 is a Bengali family drama starring Dev as Joy and Mithun Chakraborty as Gour Chakrabarty. The film explores the emotional bond between a father and son, family responsibilities, and the meaning of love and togetherness.

Joy lives in London with his daughter and dreams of building a successful career as a chef. He wants his ageing parents to move to London so he can take care of them, but his father, Gour, refuses to leave Kolkata and the small hotel he runs. Gour also wishes to see his widowed son get married again and find happiness.

As differences arise between their expectations and dreams, the family faces emotional challenges that test their relationships. Through love, sacrifice, and understanding, they learn the importance of respecting one another’s choices and staying connected across generations.
