Kacher Manush is a Bengali drama-thriller starring Dev as Kuntol Sarkar, Prosenjit Chatterjee as Sudarshan Ghosh, and Ishaa Saha as Alo.

Kuntol is going through an extremely difficult phase in life. Haunted by guilt over his brother’s death and struggling with his mother’s paralysis, he loses the will to live. One day, he meets Sudarshan, an unusual man who offers him a dangerous deal.

Sudarshan comes up with a plan involving an insurance policy that could provide a large sum of money if Kuntol dies in an accident. The money would help Sudarshan take care of Kuntol’s mother and fund the treatment of his own seriously ill sister, Kusum. Kuntol initially agrees to the plan, believing that his death could help his family.

However, everything changes when Kuntol falls in love with Alo, who is revealed to be Sudarshan’s sister. Kuntol begins to find a reason to live, but Sudarshan becomes desperate to carry out his plan to save his sister. This leads to a dangerous game of deception, unexpected twists, and a struggle between life and death.
